Here are some things to keep in mind when planning the drinks and beverages at a wedding or event:

Make sure you have enough drinks

One of the major mistakes at any wedding or event is not having enough alcohol for your guests. Plan for roughly 3 drinks per adult guest, and then add about 10%. It's better to have too many drinks than too little!

Cater to your crowd

Don't have just beer or just wine. Make sure you have a good variety of beer, wine and spirits so that individuals have choices. Mix up local micro-brews and big brands with options for wine and spirits for different tastes.

Include options for non-drinkers

Not all guests drink alcohol, so make sure you have options for those who don't. Alternatives at weddings and events could be the ever-popular iced tea, lemonade, coffee, and soda as well as mocktails and non-alcoholic beer/wine.
